Gabbie Shafer

In the past, Gabbie has affectionately been called “the last line of defense.” And it’s true. She’s the last stop to ensure accurate and polished materials are sent to every client. With her collection of grammar references and an English degree from the University of North Texas in tow, she brings more than eight years of invaluable copy editing experience to her role at Balcom. She’s worked in digital news, for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and with Lockheed Martin's digital marketing team. She’s also volunteered with multiple nonprofits.

Chelsea Chase

With a BFA in graphic design from Texas Christian University and a black belt in creativity (and karate), Chelsea uses her artistic chops to craft visual narratives that leave a lasting impact. Known for her positive "glow up" philosophy and a passion for vintage treasures, she brings experience from her time as a graphic designer at The Fort Worth Club and at Warren Douglas, and as an associate art director at Agency Habitat. At the B, she creates and designs content for clients on the social media side.

Ali Lipowski

Always passionate about the intersection of fashion and advertising, Ali worked toward a degree in public communications from SUNY Buffalo State and a career where she could combine her creative instincts with her analytical skills. She has four years of industry experience after working her way up from a paid search coordinator to a senior paid search specialist at Go Local Interactive; an account manager at Social Yeah; and an alumni engagement coordinator at Canisius College. She brings to the B a thorough approach to planning, managing and executing paid search campaigns.

Wallace Cruz

Wallace knew from an early age that creating art was his calling. When he was 10, he created a pretend TV channel with fake logos for each show. When his cousin told him this was called graphic design, Wallace knew it was the career for him.

Taylor Prince

Taylor doesn’t just strategize; she harmonizes. Originally drawn to marketing via the music business, she earned a Bachelor of Music with a minor in marketing from the University of Miami. She then worked at the Grammys and Naxos of America, where her strategic approach helped a classical album become the first of its kind to earn Amazon #1 bestseller status. Taylor soon extended her skills to ad agencies, including GS&F, Ignite Partnership and Publicis Groupe, working for major brands such as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, USAA and Intel and earning multiple REGGIE awards.

Taylor Travis

Taylor has always been a problem-solver and people-person. She started college as a mathematics major before realizing she missed the human factor in the equation – and advertising was the solution. With a bachelor’s in marketing from Texas A&M, she went on to work with Schaefer Advertising and GCG Marketing, serving clients including the Fort Worth Zoo, NEOCUTIS and Ortho Dermatologics. Now on the B Team, she creates strategies that are both people-oriented and numbers-strong for clients such as Dairy MAX, Aspens Senior Living Communities and Presbyterian Night Shelter.

Christanne Knorr

Christanne has a knack for connecting with people – and helping clients connect with their customers. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Texas State University and a certification in social marketing, Christanne spent more than 10 years putting her planning prowess and social savvy to work for 9thWonder, ReachLocal and Freeman for clients including Alcon, Essilor and Brinker International Inc. She joined the B Team in 2018 and manages projects and budgets for Premier Trailer Leasing, Aspens Senior Living and more.

Richie Escovedo, APR

Richie holds more than 20 years of public relations experience in the education industry, has a highly logistical mind for project management and a quick wit that makes him fun to work with. All these have made him a valuable part of the B Team for clients including Dairy MAX, HF Sinclair and Mrs. Renfro’s salsa. Richie joined Balcom in 2014 after serving as director of communications at Mansfield ISD and, previously, Nolan Catholic High School.

Lynne Swihart

Lynne was our very first production director and broadcast producer, she started our project management department, and contributed significantly to the client services and media teams. Now she's using her years of experience and industry contacts to recruit new B Team members and give our colleagues the best operational support possible. Lynne has won too many awards to list – including an American Advertising Federation (AAF) Silver Medal – and served two terms as board president for AAF – Fort Worth.

Carol Glover

Named chief creative officer in 2024, Carol keeps our team in sync and inspired, steering all of the agency’s creative output, along with key strategy and culture work. Her fusion of strategic and emotional messaging has benefitted every Balcom client since her arrival in 2004 as Balcom’s first creative director, following stints at Witherspoon and Palomar Properties.
