Stuart Balcom

Stuart was born into the advertising business. His father worked for and owned several agencies in Dallas–Fort Worth. In college, Stuart started his own advertising agency using University of Texas students as creative and media staff. After college, he worked for several notable DFW agencies and founded the Balcom Agency in 1993.

Steve Cantrell

Steve came to Balcom in 2000, leading our media team to deliver stellar results in both traditional and digital platforms for clients including Kubota Tractor Corporation, Cavender's and Cook Children's Health Care System. With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, Steve is now head of account management, media and digital strategy for the agency. Prior to joining Balcom, he developed his advertising savvy at The Phillips Agency and Meyer & Johnson for clients such as the Texas Rangers baseball club and the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association.

Holly Aguilar

A myriad of design awards highlight Holly’s more than 20 years of experience as an art director, designer and illustrator, including a Best of Show ADDY, a Silver Medal from the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC) and inclusions in Print’s Regional Design Annual and LogoLounge.

Brian Blankenship

Part designer, part creative director, part tech nerd, Brian has won countless design awards (including Best of Interactive 2009, 2012, 2021 and 2022), was called a trendsetter in logo design by Graphic Design USA, and has many inclusions in LogoLounge volumes and Print’s Regional Design Annual. Originally from San Diego but raised in Texas, Brian graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in communication design.

Lesley Dupre

Lesley brings a strong PR background and social media sixth sense to the agency. Formerly the public relations coordinator for Object 9 in Baton Rouge, for clients such as LSU Continuing Education and EATEL, she joined the B Team in 2010 and now crafts and delivers messages for clients including the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation, Hippo Sak, James L. West Center for Dementia Care, Mrs. Renfro’s salsa and the TCU Neeley School of Business. She served as the 2021 president of the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA and continues to volunteer for the organization.

Alexa Butler

Alexa is a self-proclaimed morning person and spreadsheet fanatic who naturally found her calling in media planning. She earned experience on both the vendor and brand sides of the media world at KEYE-TV in Austin and at Braum’s Inc., then rounded out her expertise working agency side at Insight Creative Group (ICG) in Oklahoma. In 2015, she served as a traditional media expert panelist for the Oklahoma City chapter of the American Advertising Federation. She then returned home to Texas to join the B Team.
