Alexa Butler

B-ography

Alexa is a self-proclaimed morning person and spreadsheet fanatic who naturally found her calling in media planning. She earned experience on both the vendor and brand sides of the media world at KEYE-TV in Austin and at Braum’s Inc., then rounded out her expertise working agency side at Insight Creative Group (ICG) in Oklahoma. In 2015, she served as a traditional media expert panelist for the Oklahoma City chapter of the American Advertising Federation. She then returned home to Texas to join the B Team. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with a concentration in advertising from Texas State University in San Marcos. Alexa and her family currently live on a cutting horse ranch in Weatherford.

  • Alexa chose the nickname “Cat Wrangler” to match her rancher lifestyle – because it accurately describes her work, herding media placements and corralling budgets.
  • Alexa has lived in 10 different cities, both foreign and domestic.
  • Alexa’s co-workers at ICG awarded her with “The 'Mad Men' Award: Most likely to run a 'Mad Men'-style media agency, full of minions.”
