She puts that commitment to work defining strategies for clients including Sinclair Oil; Longhorn Council, Boy Scouts of America and a Wish with Wings. Originally from Wichita Falls, Texas, Kathryn earned a B.A. in economics from Sweet Briar College and an MBA from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Kasie Mallory

Kasie Mallory has an unassuming demeanor – but also two decades of experience making great things happen for some of the nation’s biggest brands. After earning an Associate of Applied Science in business administration from Murray State College, Kasie went into radio promotion and event management before transitioning to advertising at TraceyLocke, where she became one of the agency’s first project supervisors. She has launched products for Hasbro Inc.

Taylor has always been a problem-solver and people-person. She started college as a mathematics major before realizing she missed the human factor in the equation – and advertising was the solution. With a bachelor’s in marketing from Texas A&M, she went on to work with Schaefer Advertising and GCG Marketing, serving clients including the Fort Worth Zoo, NEOCUTIS and Ortho Dermatologics. Now on the B Team, she creates strategies that are both people-oriented and numbers-strong for clients such as Dairy MAX, Aspens Senior Living Communities and Presbyterian Night Shelter.

Krystal Lewis

That same forward-thinking has also helped build the brands of clients like Cavender’s and Kubota Tractor Corporation. Before coming to Balcom in 2005, Krystal worked at Maverick Advertising for the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau, Rocky Mountain Clothing Company and others.

Richie Escovedo, APR

Richie holds more than 20 years of public relations experience in the education industry, has a highly logistical mind for project management and a quick wit that makes him fun to work with. All these have made him a valuable part of the B Team for clients including Dairy MAX, HF Sinclair and Mrs. Renfro’s salsa. Richie joined Balcom in 2014 after serving as director of communications at Mansfield ISD and, previously, Nolan Catholic High School.

Ashley Freer

Named agency president in 2024, Ashley nurtures client relationships and strategy, while driving agency growth and operations. She first joined Balcom in 2009 and soon rose to leadership, directing a team of account managers and driving high-impact strategies for clients including Cook Children's Health Care System, Dairy MAX, Mrs. Renfro's salsa and Sinclair Oil. Originally from Georgia, Ashley previously worked for organizations including Ogilvy Public Relations, Atlanta History Center and BlueLinx Corporation.

In 2015, she served as a traditional media expert panelist for the Oklahoma City chapter of the American Advertising Federation. She then returned home to Texas to join the B Team.
