Nick Toombs

Nick feels right at home in the creative world of advertising – and he loves finding creative ways to engage with wider audiences. Graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in public relations, he has eight years of experience in the industry after working as a senior media manager and coordinator at Simpli.fi; a media planner and supervisor at Schaefer Advertising Co.; and a media supervisor at Media+. Working in key verticals such as government, healthcare and entertainment, he has extensive expertise in driving results for regulated industries.

Aaron Merritt

Wanting to turn his passion into a profession, Aaron decided to “go pro” – and become a production artist. After attending the University of Minnesota and St. Cloud State University and earning a degree in 2D media and printmaking, he made a name for himself as someone who combines a great attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple projects as a graphic designer and production artist at Robert Half; a senior production artist at PSA Worldwide LLC; and a digital media assistant at Graham Olsen.

Joshua Cooley

Processing broadcast media invoices by day and playing video games to stay in touch with his two sons by night, Josh has 14 years of experience as a billing and accounts payable specialist. Before joining the B Team in 2022, he worked at Tegna and The Richards Group. Originally from the “Antique Capital of Texas” known as Forney, he now lives in Grapevine, Texas, and enjoys working from his home office. Josh’s non-Balcom nickname is “Head,” and if there’s one thing he can’t do to save his life, it’s consistently go to the gym – something we all can relate to.

Stephanie Orges

Stephanie began her career in advertising with Balcom as an intern and has been on the B Team full time for more than 10 years, armed with a penchant for creative writing that has given her versatility in voice and style. She has a few American Advertising Awards to prove it, including Best of Show, Best of Broadcast and multiple Best of Interactive awards. Whether it’s a video script, key messaging or an entire website, Stephanie wordsmiths for a variety of clients, including Dairy MAX, Mrs. Renfro’s salsa and Sinclair Oil.

Brian Blankenship

Part designer, part creative director, part tech nerd, Brian has won countless design awards (including Best of Interactive 2009, 2012, 2021 and 2022), was called a trendsetter in logo design by Graphic Design USA, and has many inclusions in LogoLounge volumes and Print’s Regional Design Annual.
