November 16, 2011

Fort Worth, Texas – November 16, 2011 – Balcom Agency, an award-winning advertising, interactive and public relations firm, has again been included in Print magazine's annual issue recognizing outstanding design. Since 1981, the prestigious Print Regional Design Annual has served as the only comprehensive survey of outstanding design throughout the United States and the only collection organized by geography. The December 2011 issue features Balcom's ad for client CASA of Tarrant County.

Over the course of the past year, Balcom has worked with CASA of Tarrant County to increase recruitment of volunteer Advocates to speak up for abused and neglected children. Balcom's campaign for CASA of Tarrant County centers on speaking up for a child when the words they are accustomed to hearing are negative and damaging. Print ads for the campaign complement the recent Web site re-design at www.speakupforachild.org, which was launched in spring 2011 by Balcom. Holly Aguilar, senior art director at Balcom, designed the campaign.

"Our team is proud to work alongside CASA of Tarrant County to help communicate the need for Advocates in our county," said Balcom Creative Director Carol Glover. "We believe in the work that our local CASA is doing, and are honored that our work to support them has been recognized by Print."
